Arrow: This Season’s Big Bad Revealed

Looks like this week is chalk full of Arrow news and spoilers that would make any fan running toward their computers, but this particular revelation might be the best so far.

TV Line is reporting that this season’s big bad baddie will be none other than Vertigo! This character is set to make his appearance sometime after the new year, in an episode aptly entitled “Vertigo” where a new hot drug hits Starling City’s streets that causes some deadly effects.

Don’t expect this Vertigo to be similar to the ones in comics as he will be “ truly nightmarish” and Arrow’s “deadliest adversary to date.” Possible connection to recent tidbit E!Online mentioned? I’ll let you be the judge. Now, even though this character may diverge from the comics, expect his signature “superpower” to remain intact.

With all of this new info being divulged, anyone else seeing the likelihood of Thea getting mixed up with the drug? It seems like this would definitely be up her alley and if that ends up being the case, I foreshadow a one angry Oliver that even the audience may have a hard time sympathizing with.
