Arrow Nabs True Blood Alum for Recurring Role
True Blood” alum Janina Gavankar has been cast in a recurring role on The CW’s new hit show, “Arrow” according to TV Line.
Gavankar will play, McKenna Hall- an alluring, no holds barred vice cop for the SCPD who shares some history with our favorite green crusader’s alter ego, Oliver.
Gavankar’s first appearance will take place in the episode entitled “Vertigo” which has a hot new drug hitting the streets of Starling City with some deadly results. This episode will also introduce this season’s nemesis, a character modeled off the DC villain Vertigo, played by “Fringe” actor, Seth Gable.
With all of these new recent castings, this season of Arrow is shaping to be quite explosive and I for one, cannot wait to see how it all turns out!
