‘Big Bang Theory’ Cast Orchestrates Flash Mob

The Big Bang Theory cast surprised its audience during an October taping with a choreographed flash mob to “Call Me Maybe,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The flash mob was orchestrated by none other than Kaley Cuoco (Penny) who thought up the idea and was able to convince the cast and crew to join in on the fun. With the help of her sister who choreographed the flash mob, Cuoco’s surprise dance went off without a hitch much to everyone’s delight. In attendance to the taping were showrunnders-Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and Steve Molaro, who can be seen in the video being completely thrown for a loop at the surprise and loving every minute of it.

The number begins, during the beginning of a take when suddenly the tune of “Call Me Maybe” can be heard coming through the sound stage’s speakers. The cast assumes ignorance as some of the crew start to dance, but when the chorus starts to play Kunal Nayyar (Raj), Simon Helberg (Howard), Mayim Bialik (Amy), Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) with Cuoco all joining in. The music then changes from Kanye West’s “Gold Digger“ to Beyonce’s “Run the World (Girls)” to LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” with Galecki finally throwing down some moves. As the dance winds down everyone runs back to their places as if the dance never occurred with Jim Parsons (Sheldon) getting the last word, bazinga!
